Joe`s Hot Dogs in Joliet

Love Joe's hot dogs and fries. Always delicious. You can pretty much get anything you want on the hot dogs. They also have beef sandwiches, onion rings, tamales, chili... The service is always friendly and quick!

Hot dogs taste a little different since Joe's been gone so it's not the same. I used to drive over an hour to eat here. Overall it's a good stop for lunch if your in the area!

Just went to the famous Joe’s Hot Dogs with my dad Smitty. It was opened in the same year he was born 1953 and he hasn’t been there since 1971. He said it’s exactly how he remembers it from so many years ago!! It Brought back memories for him and created a new one for the both of us. Excellent polish and Chicago style dogs! There’s nothing on the menu I wouldn’t eat! A great local classic. Who needs Chicago anyway? Capeesh??

Love the hot dogs and they still make them awesome salty fries which you have to order first. I'm 43 and been going there for decades. Back in the day going there after a night of drinking and now as a dad of 3 kids.

As far as hot dogs go, this place is among the very best. To me, it's either Portillo's or this place for the number 1 spot. But, I'll tell you a little secret. When I go to Joe's I rarely order their hot dogs as good as they are. Reason being, their polish sausage is even better. Now this is somewhat strange, because I generally think of myself as a hot dog guy. I tell you this because I really want you to at least try their polish sausage if you haven't already. From what I hear, they have their own special mix that is delivered from somewhere. All I know is I haven't had a polish sausage like it anywhere else. It is very similar to a hot dog. In fact, the first time I ordered one, I thought they gave me a hot dog by mistake. The best way I can put it, is that their polish sausage tastes like the best hot dog you will ever eat.

Joes is a Joliet staple for hot dogs and fries. If you've never been here your missing out for Sure.

I havn't been here in about 15 years I remember how great the food was from back then, just went back today and got my original order Chili Cheese Dog, Dog with pickle onion and mustard, and a bag of fries. This is still the best hot dog in the Chicagoland area, do not hesitate to go here.

I have been eating here since the early 1970's. Even after moving out of state, when ever I come back to Joliet, I always make sure I get my Joe's fix. If it wasn't for a 300 mile drive, I would get here more often. I now only get here in December. I can't wait till next month. I always get an original dog (2 of them with hot peppers) and fries. There is no better.

Sorry no pics. I ate it to quickly. A Joliet institution for generations. Good food all day, and on the way home after a night out. Always hits the spot. "We salt everything!"

Tried Joe's about 2 years ago and said we'd never go back. Gave them a second chance today. The fries were OK. The hot dog: No. The hot dog used are not beef and really cheap quality; Nothing more gross than a mushy soft hot dog. The tomatoes they used were way over ripe. Relish had no flavor really all I could taste was onion, hot pepper and bread. $18.99 for 4 really bad hot dogs and 2 fries. A good hot dog joint would have that and 2 drinks for $15 along with real beef hot dogs. Joe's blew it. Nothing even close to what it used to be. Waste of $19. Never again.

If you like Chicago Hot Dogs and don't want to make the drive to Chicago this is the place! This place is even open til 2am on the weekend. Awesome for late late night grub. Cheaper than buying hot dogs at a ball park!

I love hot dogs. Used to like this place. Quality of hot dog has gone down hill. Tastes like a soy and filler dog. Spend a buck more per dog and go to Portillos or somewhere else

Polish with kraut is amazing. Tamales are very good. Joe's has been a part of Joliet for many years and for good reason.

Fair prices. Dogs are not all beef but still had enough beef to keep the flavor and texture right. My friend loved his Italian beef. Fries were some of the best I've ever had! I was not impressed with the tamale I ordered. I would expect something that doesnt look store bought. Overall, I'd be back another time. Next time, no tamale.

Joe's has always been the best place to get some great hotdogs and some amazing hot fries. The fries are always hot and the hotdogs are so good. Anyone who is in the area or even a little ways should stop by!

I went to Joe's for the first time this weekend and I can say I finally found a place that serves high quality Italian beef. Not only were the portions large, the prices were more affordable than any other hot dog joint in the Chicagoland area. Go to Joe's if you want to be full, satisfied and still have some cash in your wallet!

These are my favorite hot dogs in Joliet! I always get everything with sport peppers, and they are incredible every time. If your in Joliet looking for a hot dog then this is the place!
